FAQ
Where do I start?
The choice is yours! But here's a little more information
to help you decide:
The Mega Kit is our most popular item and
most economical option (save $60 off the retail item
price.) The kit includes our entire system, offers
the most variety, and is the perfect choice if you’re
the type to get bored doing the same exercises each
day.
If you are looking for a single DVD to start with,
we usually recommend the Level One. Within
Level One, we offer beginner, intermediate
and advanced positioning so there is a good range
and most likely a variation to challenge your progress.
Also, some riders prefer to start with The Seated
Workout especially if they are new to exercise,
or recovering from an injury that makes floor work
difficult. It is performed entirely while seated in
a chair without any impact on the joints. But don’t
be fooled- it’s a challenging workout. And there’s
some fun coordination exercises here that will help
you reach the goal of multitasking in the saddle.
I'm already very fit, should I jump to Level
Two?
Level Two was designed as "an extension
of the concepts introduced in Level One."
The Level Two workout requires a more specified
use of deeper muscle groups; therefore, the training
and body isolations within Level One should
be learned first.
How long does it take
to move up the levels?
You don't have to be entirely proficient at Level
One to cross train with Level Two. We'd
like you to be familiar with Level One and
perform the workout for a few weeks before you add
Level Two into your program. The Seated
Workout and The Express Toning Pak™ can
be incorporated at any stage. The goal is to eventually
cross train with all of the items in the program.
Is Equi-Stretch® based
on Yoga or Pilates?
Equi-Stretch® was created as a sport specific
training with riders at the source. Influenced by
many systems, our method is a great cross trainer
for riders who are already using Yoga or Pilates because
it is complimentary without being repetitive.
Is Equi-Stretch®
just for Dressage riders?
Our system is truly "cross discipline"
which is a surprising claim since there are so many
different methods of training in the horse industry.
Equi-Stretch® is not intended to teach you how
to ride, but rather designed to instruct you on how
to practice your body isolations used in the saddle.
With greater body awareness, you will be able to accomplish
your riding goals, regardless of discipline.
How often should I
use the program?
For best results, we recommend doing a 20-30 minute
session, at least three times per week. In addition,
Level One and Level Two are both edited
into shorter sections with page indicators between
them. These sections can be used as 10-minute mini
workouts when time is a factor.
